Nyangu Chodola

Born Andrew Hastings Chodola in Blantyre, Nyangu is a self-taught artist whose formidable talent and prolific output have won widespread recognition. He has received several awards, among them are two Awards of Excellence, for overall best artist and best artworks from Art House Africa, which were presented by the former Vice President Hon. Justin Malewezi. And in February 2014 he was named Best Visual Artist by the Light of Youth Creative Organisation. Nyangu has participated in over 50 exhibitions over the past 25 years - in Malawi, the United Kingdom, and the USA.
