Jimmy Malinga

G'me, born Jimmy Malinga in Lilongwe, is from Kasungu, Malawi, where he discovered his passion for painting at age eleven. With over twenty years of experience, he evolved from a street artist in South Africa to a prominent figure in Lilongwe's art scene. Jimmy's curated exhibitions and facilitated projects spotlight both local and international artists. His murals grace various spaces, including collaborations like the computer room project with Artmal and "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind." Notable recognitions include exhibiting at the American Ambassador's residence and collaborating with renowned artists like Tim Davis and Charles Philippe Jean-Pierre.
