Chisomo Lifar

    Chisomo Lifar is a Malawian visual artist, innovator and climate change activist based in Lilongwe. He discovered himself as an artist in late 2014, when he started sketching. Later he discovered his unique artistic technique in painting, using squeegee when painting abstracts. He also invented plastic sculptures, where he uses plastic found in various places to be incorporated into his art. He has attended most of the Art in the Park events, as well as the Egyptian culture week in 2017, and he has exhibited online. He has appeared in various newspapers (e.g. Malawi News, the Nation, the Daily Times). He created a portrait of the senior lawyer Mordecai Msiska in 2020. Later, one of his pieces was delivered to the late queen Elizabeth ll.
