Athira Krishnan

Athira Krishnan is a 30-year-old landscape and food photographer, a business graduate turned creative entrepreneur. As a third-culture kid, she grew up in Malawi and finished her schooling at Bishop Mackenzie International School (BMIS) in Lilongwe, then moved to Dubai and New Zealand to complete her studies in International Business. After a brief stint in the corporate line, Athira went down the creative path of photography in which she has been building her expertise over the last 6 years. She’s often inspired and impressed by the wonders of nature, and she continues to experiment with new approaches in her photography. Athira has held two solo exhibitions in Malawi, showcasing her landscape photographs of the country that she grew up in and holds close to her heart.
